Recently, on my wife's Toyota Sienna, I needed to replace the serpentine belt. After getting a $480 estimate on the repair at a local shop, I went to Auto Zone and purchased the belt and brought the car to Jeras who helped me install it. Including the belt I purchased and his labor, the total cost for this repair was $117.
After bringing my Subaru Forester to Jeras and Sam for an Air Conditioning System check, they conducted a full diagnostic and found out that I needed to replace the A/C condenser. They also evacuated and recharged the system with the required amount of freon and replaced the cabin air filter. Before proceeding with the necessary work, they called me, explained why I needed to implement the repairs, gave me a cost estimate, and obtained my approval. I find Feras and Sam very honest and professional, and I highly recommend working with them.
After determining that my Subaru Forester might be burning oil excessively, Feras and Sam ran an engine test to make sure that it had no leaks and that it was performing well. Their test showed that the engine was running perfectly. They then suggested adding a thicker oil for high mileage vehicles. Over the next couple of weeks, we're going to monitor the oil level since we suspect the shop where I had my last oil and filter change didn't add the 5 quarts of oil that my Subaru Forester's engine requires.
